Design in the making..........

This is how a star was formed. First the strips were sewn and cut.

...then I had to decide which direction to place them. With the gold to the center or the red????

...and the background material. Solid or print? I really love the dark print background with the gold points.....but think that it will look too dark.

This is for the Veterans Caucus auction.... So .....  I think I will be going with the un-bleached muslin and the gold in the center.  But I really don't like the light color at the end of the points.  It makes that last point look like it is floating....think I will change it to another....more tryouts later....
